1. Who we are
LucreMaven AI ("we," "us," "the app") is a personal finance management platform currently operated by Pooja Ram, founder of LucreMaven AI, based in India. This entity name will be updated here once LucreMaven AI is formally incorporated. Contact: hello@lucremavenai.com.
2. What data we collect
Account information: name, email address, and authentication identifier via email/password or Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication). We do not see or store your Google password.
Financial data you enter directly: account balances, income, expenses, investment holdings, budgets, financial goals, and any other figures you choose to enter. This is the core data the app needs to function — we cannot provide the service without it.
Financial data you upload: if you import a bank statement (CSV), we process the file to extract transaction details into your expense records. We do not use an uploaded statement for any purpose beyond populating your own records.
Usage data: basic analytics on how you use the app (e.g. which screens you visit, which actions you take), to help us understand what's working and fix what isn't.
AI Coach conversations: messages you send to the AI Coach, along with the financial context needed to answer them, are sent to our AI processing provider to generate a response.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the core functionality of the app: tracking, calculating, and displaying your financial picture.
- To generate the AI-powered features (Financial Health Score, AI Coach, AI Financial Roadmap, Life Event Simulator) — all of which are educational and informational tools, not personalised financial advice (see our Terms of Service).
- To improve the app based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.
- To communicate with you about your account, important changes, or — if you opt in — product updates.
We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties. We do not use your financial data for advertising targeting.
4. How we store and protect your data
Your data is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud) services, secured by access rules intended to restrict each user's data to that user's own authenticated account. No system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information.
5. Third-party services we use
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting, analytics)
- Groq (AI Coach response generation — your message and relevant financial context are sent to generate a reply)
- A payment processor, once subscription billing goes live — payment information will be handled directly by that processor; we will not store your card details.
6. Your rights
Access & export: you can export your data at any time via the CSV export and PDF report features in the app.
Deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting hello@lucremavenai.com. This is currently a request-based process.
Correction: you can edit or delete any financial data you've entered directly within the app at any time.
7. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal and financial data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Children's privacy
LucreMaven AI is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves — including once LucreMaven AI is formally incorporated, or as data-handling practices are confirmed in more detail. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via email or an in-app notice.
